Who are these Deviants?

We are three former professionals who have worked at different levels in the criminal justice system, as well as all having experience teaching at the collegiate level. Through conversations we all learned that we still have a passion for the study of criminology, law, and history. There was also that common conversation that many criminal justice professionals, military/veterans, and fans of true crime experience; we rarely got to speak to others about our experiences or just chat about topics of interest because of the perceived social deviance of such dark topics. After a very, very short discussion amongst the three it was decided that starting a podcast would be a great way to have deep discussions and explore topics of a deviant nature. With this concept in mind and zero background in podcasting; Deviant Criminology was formed.
